Friday afternoon, August 23, Donny & Marie Osmond were honored with the Key to the Las Vegas Strip. Clark Commission Chairwoman Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Caesars Entertainment CEO Tony Rodio recognized the duo for their immense contributions to the entertainment landscape of the city via their celebrated 11-year residency at Flamingo Las Vegas.

Before an ecstatic crowd inside The LINQ Promenade, Donny & Marie thanked the city of Las Vegas, Caesars Entertainment and, of course, their fans for their love and support throughout their time as headliners at Flamingo Las Vegas. True to form, Donny & Marie’s banter led to a playful dispute over who would take home the ceremonial key, ending in a rock, paper, scissors game.
What began as a six-week concert engagement ended up being so well received that by popular demand, the residency was extended again and again. After more than 1,600 performances, Donny & Marie will take their final bow at Flamingo on Nov. 16.
Donny & Marie perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday in the Donny & Marie Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas, with post-show meet and greet packages available every night except Saturday. This Labor Day Weekend kicked off with a bang for ANTHONY KLOSOWSKI OF SOUTH MILWAUKEE, WI as he hit the LET IT RIDE PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT AT BIRD BAR AT FLAMINGO LAS VEGAS the evening of Thursday, Aug. 29, resulting in a win of $1,323,251. Klosowski, long-time fan of the Let It Ride game and lover of the Flamingo Las Vegas, plays every time he visits Las Vegas. DISCOVERY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM has partnered with Zappos and its resident artist, MIGUEL HERNANDEZ, to create a HAND-PAINTED MURAL FOR THE NEW CREATIVE EXHIBIT, DISCOVERY LAB. The new mural is inspired by the museum’s welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive environment where all are invited to engage in playful and educational experiences that ignite a lifelong love of learning. The project, which began a few weeks ago, is slated to be completed on Friday, Sept. 6, is being hand painted by Hernandez during museum hours for visitors to watch and inspire the mural design.Museum guests and spectators who are interested in watching the mural painting at the DISCOVERY Lab are encouraged to watch.

Las Vegas resident, documentary creator, ZACHARY CAPP’S THE RINGMASTER, which just won “Best Documentary” at Festival of Cinema NYC will screen his poignant, funny, heartbreaking film about the world's greatest onion rings and its midwestern chef Larry Lang (Minn .at The Silver State Film Festival at the Century Orleans on Saturday, Sept. 7th at 7:30pm. Zachary and producers/directors Molly Dworsky and Dave Newberg will be in attendance for a Q&A following the film. Zach and his co-directors filmed for three years and hundreds of hours and has most interesting anecdotes including getting the legendary band KISS involved, flying Larry on his first trip to Las Vegas for a special taste testing at Piero's with VIP's etc.
The documentary became two docs in one - trying to film Larry and getting him on camera and the directors turned the cameras on Zach - a former gambling addict and what he went through to get this film done with some inheritance money from his grandfather. Zach spent each summer in Minn with family growing up and always loved these onion rings and decided to honor Larry and the Lang family with the most unusual love story documentary.

ONE DROP will host the eighth annual WALK FOR WATER on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the LAS VEGAS SPRINGS PRESERVE, ahead of the annual One Night for One Drop event coming spring 2020. THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS will welcome BANDA EL RECORDO to THE CHELSEA STAGE on Friday, Sept. 27, along with MARIACHI VARGAS DE TECALITLÁN, on their Northamerican 200 Años de Musica Mexicana tour. The seventeen-member ensemble consists of four clarinets, three trumpets, a tambora, a bass drum with a cymbal on top, a tarola, a snare drum, a tuba three trombones, two alto horns and two singers. From Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, O’Sheas will feature live bands like Evenflow, Roxy Gunn Project, Flannel Channel and more, daily beginning at 7 p.m. DJs will then take over and keep the party going all night long. The 30 days of shenanigans also introduces two new weekly events—beer pong tournaments on Thursdays and St. Patrick’s Day Fridays. Think you got game? Beginning Thursday, Sept. 5, join in and cheer on weekly beer pong tournaments. Sign-up begins at noon on the day of, with tournaments starting at 4 p.m. Teams of two are $30, and one-time re-buys are $20 per team. The first-place team wins $200; winner takes all. Beginning Sept. 6, every Friday throughout the month will go green with St. Patrick’s Day Fridays. Brian “Lucky” Thomas, the face of O’Sheas for nearly 15 years, will host games, trivia and raffles. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 28, O’Sheas will host a 30TH GRAND FINALE BIRTHDAY BASH with famous friends, games, live bands and more. Games like Wheel of Destiny, Rapid Fire Beer Pong, flip cup and more begin that day at 4 p.m., with a green carpet, toast and Darby O’Gill and Flannel Channel performing throughout the night.

Floyd Mayweather, Akon and hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd were just a few of the celebrities partying at Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell Hotel Las Vegas as multi-platinum recording artist Trey Songz celebrated a decade of success for his hit album, “Ready.” Following his performance, Songz was surprised with an elaborate cake presentation and a plaque for his achievement while the stunning Drai’s Dolls danced around him with oversized cutouts of his face.
The excitement continued with a surprise visit from Jeezy, who performed “SupaFreak” with Songz. In addition, 2 Chainz joined the group on stage, performing hits “It’s a Vibe” and “No Problem.”

Celebrated entertainer Frankie Moreno and dance pro Lacey Schwimmer were spotted in the audience at “Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel in Concert” at Harrah’s Las Vegas. Near the end of the show, Moreno jumped on stage to perform "Jailhouse Rock" with the band. Following the show, Moreno and Schwimmer joined cast members backstage for photos.
