To kick off the night, Lucky Foo's owner and managing partner Michael Fuller, toasted to the opening of the new 5,000 total square feet restaurant and bar consisting of four vastly distinctive dining areas with seating for up to 180 guests. With luck and fortune as its inspiration, each room or  microenvironment, was designed with a specific character or idea considered to be “lucky,” allowing for unique experiences each time a guest visits.

Hundreds of guests attended the lavish VIP party and sipped on signature cocktails, including the Water Dragon, Resting Panda and Crouching Tiger. With an emphasis on high-quality ingredients and cuisine, Executive Chef Shawn Giordano,  has developed a menu full of innovative dishes that blend Japanese, Thai and Mediterranean ingredients and techniques with classic American dishes.
Using a robata grill as the anchor of the kitchen, the focus of Lucky Foo’s menu will be on dishes that are fresh, flavorful and healthy. Using a traditional Japanese coal called binchotan, which burns at 1,000 degrees, the robata grill will cook food faster, sealing in the delicious juices of Lucky Foo’s signature dishes. The expansive menu includes sushi, noodles, salads, sandwiches and yakitori, as well as various cuts of steak, ribs and chicken. Signature selections include skewered yakitori meat or vegetable tacos with smoked pickled kimchee as a possible side selection; and the Foo Burger, a blend of flavorful meats prepared on the robata grill to maximize flavor and juiciness.
