Tommy Wind's MAGIC PALACE Debuts on the Las Vegas Strip
Tommy Wind celebrated the Grand Opening of his Magic Palace, a Performers Lounge Nightclub at the Tommy Wind Theatre and Event Center, 3765 Las Vegas Blvd., on Monday night, July 8. Combining his love for music and magic, the young magician created the venue as a place where local and international magicians and performers from the industry can showcase there talents and acts.

Acting as co-hosts were Tommy Wind and his fiancee, beverage director/performer Stacey Marie Jackson. The pair appeared on stage to introduce the lineup of performers that included magicians Luna Shimada, Bizarro, Rob Anderson, Doug Arkell, Arianne Black, Jungle Josh, Michael Howell, Pres. Clinton lookalike Timothy Smallwood, comedienne Penny Wiggins and dancing duo Elaine and Jason, who performed a Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers-like routine.

The 21,000sq. ft. venue features a main stage, seating for more than 500, a parlor venue "The Gem" that seats over 50 people, close up magic stations, 4 bars and a patio balcony overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. After the show the venue turns into a nightclub with Go-Go Dancers, a live DJ spinning the music as guests enjoy libations from a huge drink selection and VIP bottle service available in 40 newly renovated VIP booths.
The Magic Palace is open to the general public. Admission is FREE but guests must be at least 21 years of age. Dress code is business casual.

THE NEVADA CHILDHOOD CANCER FOUNDATION will hold its 18th annual CAMP CARTWHEEL SUMMER CAMP for critically ill children and their siblings July 16 – 19 and 22 – 26 at the Torino Ranch. The event is a medically supervised, outdoor and overnight camp experience for children diagnosed with cancer, or other life- threatening illnesses. Camp Cartwheel includes four fun-filled days of swimming, scuba diving, arts and crafts, canoeing, outdoor games and more. The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation’s staff and volunteers provide more than195 campers, ages five through 17, the chance to form positive peer relationships, develop greater independence and self-esteem, and have the opportunity to feel like a healthy child. Children attending Camp Cartwheel are given a cost-free camp experience thanks to local donations from businesses, community leaders, caring individuals and other generous supporters. On Thursday, July 17, from 6-9 p.m., the AMANDA HARRIS GALLERY OF CONTEMPORARY ART, 900 S. Las Vegas Blvd. #150, will host a video presentation of select performances from acclaimed Cuban contemporary artist ANGEL DELGADO's career. As part of the event, Delgado will also discuss his inspiration and commitment to performance art with the attendees. Delgado’s “Constancy” exhibit opened last month at the Amanda Harris Gallery. Inspired by the months Delgado was imprisoned in Cuba for a controversial performance art piece in 1990, the works examine the unique materials available to prisoners with limited access to supplies. The pieces include carved soap blocks, drawings on handkerchiefs and paintings. Delgado’s impressive work is largely based on the limitations, restrictions, prohibitions and controls that are frequently imposed on human beings in society.
NIA SANCHEZ, the newly crowned Miss USA 2014, will host NATIONAL LOLLIPOP DAY BENEFITING THE SHADE TREE AT SUGAR FACTORY TOWN SQUARE on Sunday, July 20. Sanchez will sign autographs and take photographs with fans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. She is the first Nevada beauty queen in history to win the Miss USA crown. The event will be part of Sanchez’s official Las Vegas homecoming celebration. Miss Nevada Teen USA 2014 Alexa Taylor will also make an appearance to support Sanchez. Sugar Factory will donate 50 percent of all Couture Pops sold at Sugar Factory Town Square on National Lollipop Day to The Shade Tree Las Vegas, the only 24-hour accessible shelter specifically to meet the needs of women, children, and their pets in Southern Nevada. VIVA VERACRUZ! THE SHOW, the story of a traveler’s walk through the legends and colorful history of Veracruz, Mexico, will make its American premiere at the PH Showroom inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Monday, July 28.
Westgate Resorts has acquired the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino as the newest addition to its portfolio of 28 resorts. Located on 3000 Paradise Road, just one block off the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center, the property was formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton and will be renamed WESTGATE LAS VEGAS RESORT & CASINO. The LVH is a landmark property that, at one time, was the largest hotel in the world and was home to such legendary greats as Elvis Presley and Liberace during Vegas’s golden age.

At TAO Beach, provocative nightlife photographer, Kirill Was Here, returned with the latest installment of his exclusive Las RAGEous residency. Kirill took his untamed antics and signature champagne facials poolside for the afternoon while DJ Politik set the soundtrack for the daytime party.
Also at TAO Beach, Grammy-award nominated DJ, producer and rapper DJ Khaled was spotted in a VIP cabana with friends.
Saturday evening, actor Wilmer Valderrama and pop singer Demi Lovato dined at TAO Asian Bistro. The couple was joined by friends, including UFC fighter “Suga” Rashad Evans.
Later that night, DJ Khaled headlined the night and manned the DJ decks with a special set at TAO Nightclub.

Khloe Kardashian kicked off her Las Vegas birthday celebrations at TAO Beach with her boyfriend, rapper French Montana and a large group of friends.
That evening, Khloe celebrated her 30th birthday with dinner at TAO. Joined again by French Montana and friends Malika Haqq and her twin sister Khadijah Haqq McCray. Once inside the restaurant, R&B crooner Miguel and girlfriend Nazanin Mandi joined the group.
After dinner, the entire crew headed upstairs to TAO Nightclub and took over a VIP table on the dance floor where Khloe was surprised with a four-tier custom cake presented by two showgirls and an Elvis impersonator.
