Alain Nu Presents “Invisible Connections” at Clarion Hotel

Alain Nu, dubbed “The Man Who Knows” opened his new one man show “Invisible Connections” Sat. October 30 at the Clarion Hotel on Convention Center Drive for a six week engagement. Nu was the star of the TLC network special, “The Mysterious World of Alain Nu,” and was a headliner at Magical Empire Show for 4 years in Las Vegas. During his show Nu entertains audiences with his uncanny demonstrations to foretell actions and reveal unspoken thoughts that blur the line between science and the mysteries of unexplained phenomena.

I was in the audience on opening night and witnessed his amazing powers in action. For starters he asked a young girl in the audience to picture in her mind her favorite fruit. When she said it was grapes, he revealed the bowl he was holding up away from the audience’s sight was indeed filled with that fruit. Next, he told a randomly chosen woman her birthday, which of course he got right. Continuing to demonstrate the invisible connections between people, two women were placed back to back on stage and each were asked to draw any object that they wanted on a white chalkboard with the result being two images that were not exact, but very similar. Moving on, the sense of touch was the focus, as he appeared to transfer the feeling of a slight touch of a feather from one person to another who had his eyes closed and was seated a few feet away. By now, everyone was impressed if not astonished.

To top it off, if you’ve seen the old spoon-bending trick made popular by Israeli mentalist Uri Geller, well, Nu takes it to another level. This unprecedented man of mystery literally adds a twist, by somehow causing the neck of the spoon to twist right in front of our eyes without touching it. If that wasn’t enough, it was downright mind blowing trying to figure out how he was able to make the spoon bend while being cupped in the hands of an audience volunteer. Whether these are indeed examples of mind of matter or just awesome illusions, Nu demonstrates why he has earned the title ‘The Man Who Knows”.

While Alain Nu is reluctant to reveal his abilities, he admits that he incorporates elements of probability, psychology, suggestion, professional techniques and good timing. Most importantly, he sees himself as an entertainer who amazes you with his talents.

“I am just a hard working act that made it to Las Vegas”, the likeable Nu tells his audience with a genuine smile.

Alain Nu has revealed some of his secrets in his new book, Picture Your ESP! — Reveals Your Hidden Powers with The Nu ESP Test, which was recently ranked #1 in Hot New Releases in ESP on Amazon.com.
