Paul Rodriguez, along with Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada and partner Harry Basil, welcomed everyone in the packed house for coming to the momentous event. Rodriguez opened the show and got everyone laughing by poking fun at his Vegas habits, childhood traumas, and Latino culture. Rodriguez was followed by former “America’s Got Talent” contestant, comedian/impressionist Dave Burleigh who delivered spot on vocal and facial impressions of movie stars Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Jack Nicholson and superstar rapper Snoop Dogg. Next, making a surprise appearance, was strip headliner and comedy icon George Wallace, whose comedy routine took aim at Las Vegas locals and tourists. But the icing on the cake was his unyielding “yo mama” jokes, initiated by Jamie Masada, who called out insults about Wallace’s mother.

Last but definitely not the least, Ron Pearson closed the show with his unique blend of comedy and juggling. Seated up front and close to the stage, Miss Nevada 2011 kept her cool and proved what good sport she was when she was chosen by the comedian to assist him in a daring act that involved a large unicycle, juggling and a spinning ball. As the evening came to a close, Masada promised to provide great comedians and loads of laughter to a city that opens its arms to comedy.
If Wednesday's fun filled show was an example of what audiences can expect from upcoming comedy acts, than all who attend are in for a laugh out loud good time.
