Star Studded “Blue Carpet” at Viva Elvis Official Grand Opening Celebration
Celebrities from all walks of the entertainment industry attended the Official Grand Opening of Viva Elvis, the new production from Cirque du Solie in the brand new Elvis Theatre at City Center’s Aria Hotel and Casino.
Those who walked the “blue” carpet before entering the showroom on February 19, included Cirque founder Guy Laliberte, Priscilla Presley, actors Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth, Chris Noth, Christina Hendricks, Taye Diggs, Justin Long, Laurence Fishburne, Lauren Bosworth, Malin Ackerman, William Fichtner, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka. Other celebrities who showed up for the Viva Elvis premiere were magician Criss Angel, comedians Rita Rudner, Carrot Top, Sammy Shore and Andrew Dice Clay, “Peep Show” star Holly Madison, “Fantasy” star Angelica Bridges, lounge entertainer Chris Phillips (aka Zowie Bowie), Regis Philbin and his wife Joy, Ryan Seacrest, Jeff Probst, Gene Simmons (of Kiss) and significant other Shannon Tweed, Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), singer Wynonna Judd, reality TV star Kelly Killoren Bensimon (Real Housewives of New York City) and celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton, among others.
Following the conclusion of the Viva Elvis performance, a party to celebrate its opening was held at Haze Nightclub where invited guests were treated to complimentary cocktails, hors devours, and impromptu dance performances by several members of the Viva Elvis cast.
