Red Carpet Grand Opening of 'One Epic Night' Co-Starring Magic and Music Duo Jarrett & Raja
Magic and music duo, Jarrett & Raja, whom TV audiences know from their appearance on CW's Master of Illusion, as semi finalists on America's Got Talent and more recently on Shark Tank, headline an evening of music and magic in the new production, “One Epic Night” at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas. Additional performers include Megan Ruger, from season six of The Voice and season ten of American Idol, Will Champlin who placed third on season five of The Voice, and singer/guitarist James Durbin who place 4th on Season 10 of American Idol, all backed by a live all star band that includes Stet Howland, Michael T. Ross and Brent Muscat.

One Epic Night is a fast paced, 70 minute show for all ages with a limited engagement in the Plaza Showroom through January 4, 2017. Performances are Saturday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. Several 4 p.m matinees take place on September 17, 24, October 8, 15 and November 5,and 12 replacing the 7 pm shows those night. The show is dark December 1 – 20. Tickets are priced at $59.95 for general admission, $79.95 for preferred seating and $109.95 for VIP ticketa that offer preferred seating and a meet and greet with the performers. Locals (with a valid Nevada ID), children 12 and under and members of the military (with ID) can save $20 per ticket.

Mexican Eatery Nacho Daddy Opens Newest Location on The Strip
The locally owned and operated Mexican eatery, Nacho Daddy, which opened it first location in Las Vegas in 2010 and quickly expanded to include a downtown hotspot, followed by another in Summerlin, held the Grand Opening of its third and newest location in Las Vegas at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on September 1.

Brenden Theatres at The Palms Hosts Premiere of Horror/Thriller The Neighbor
The Brenden Theatres at the Palms Casino Resort hosted the world premiere of the new crime/horror/thriller The Neighbor on Thursday evening August 26.
Among the Red carpet arrivals were several principals involved in the making of the film including Executive Producers, Tony Sgro and Las Vegas resident Jason Egan, the man behind “Fright Dome” at Circus Circus; Director Marcus Dunstan; Brett Forbes and Pat Rizotti of Fortress Features and several cast members: Alex Essoe, Melissa Bolona, and actor/comedian Bill Engvall who was cast against type as the title character, a psychopathic neighbor with a very dark secret. Also on hand were a list of celebrities such as Grammy winning rapper/actor Coolio; illusionist Dan Sperry; Smooth Jazz artist Jarez; Steve Darnell and Travis Deeter of Discovery Channel's Vegas Rat Rods, Kevin Mack and Ryan Evans of History Channel's Counting Cars, Horror actress/Scream Queen Danielle Harris and others.

Additional recent and upcoming “happenings” in and around Las Vegas include:
“STUFF THE BUS” promotion, Walker Furniture’s inaugural collaboration with Beasley Media Group and 13 Action News, to collect new school supplies for Clark County School District (CCSD) students in need, was a huge success. Not only are students aided by the “Stuff The Bus” promotion, but so are teachers who typically on their own furnish their classrooms with supplies.
Walker Furniture's first “Stuff The Bus” promotion will now be an annual part of its regular community programs, Two big collections days were held on Saturdays, July 23 and Aug 6, to actually fill a school bus with new school supplies while Beasley Broadcasting radio stations held two-hour live remotes with on-air personalities from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Through Aug. 15, supplies were collected at Walker Furniture, Beasley Media Group and Channel 13. Then all items were brought to Walker Furniture where thousands of items collected from generous community residents were packaged into 29 boxes for the Clark County School District to pick up and properly distribute.
PLAYBOY'S MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM EVENT event took over Marquee Nightclub in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday night, August 27, transforming the club into an enchanted forest. The lingerie soiree took place in two different cities on the same night, with the event also occurring at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. DJ Carnage headlined the night in Vegas as aerialists soared through the air and costumed performers roamed the venue. Donning their best sleepwear, party-goers were joined by Playmates that included Dominique Jane, Audrey Allen, Hiromi Oshima, Alexandra Tyler, Val Keil, Heather Rae Young, Shanice Jordyn, Anna Sophia Berglund, Ashley Doris and Kayla Rae Reid.

The UTAH SHAKESFESPEARE FESTIVAL will be celebrating our ARMED FORCES on September 6, 7, 22, and 23, by offering FREE TICKETS to any performances those four days, as recognition for the dedication, commitment and sacrifices of the men and women who serve this country. The Festival will be proud to welcome Utah’s 222nd National Guard and any other active or inactive service personnel, as well as their families. THE COMMEMORATIVE AIR FORCE (CAF) AIRPOWER HISTORY TOUR is bringing their iconic Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, FIFI, to Henderson Executive Airport September 5 for a five day event starting September 7. The airplane will be accompanied by a T-6/SNJ Texan and a C-45 Expeditor. The CAF AirPower History Tour provides powerful history lessons to audiences across the United States. Their collection of flying military aircraft brings the sights, sounds and stories of World War II aviation to the public at large. Visitors can view the aircraft up close, watch them fly, and also purchase rides in them.he aircraft will be staged at Henderson Executive Airport, 3500 Executive Terminal Drive in Henderson. The event will be open to the public Wednesday, September 7 through Sunday, September 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission to the ramp is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 11-17. The 37th ANNUAL SAN GENNARO FEAST will take place Sept. 14-18, 2016, inside Craig Ranch Regional Park on the grass.
