CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel announce November entertainment

Mesquite, Nev. (Oct. 29, 2018) – CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel offer a variety of live stage entertainment options in large and small settings, including up-and-coming bands, brilliant tribute artists and talented lounge acts. Below is a schedule of upcoming November events.

CasaBlanca Showroom: 

With a capacity of 475, the CasaBlanca Showroom provides an eclectic mix of live stage entertainment and state-of-the-art sound.

 

  • 8:30 p.m. – Saturday, Nov. 10 – Country Artists Tribute Show: Toby Keith & Kenny Chesney

This tribute to two of today's biggest Country Super Stars is jam-packed all in one show. Not only do these artists sound just like the real country artist but they look so much like them, you will not believe your eyes. Mike Sugg as Toby Keith will play hits like “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” and “How Do You Like Me Now,” while Keith Ormrod as Kenny Chesney performs crowd favorites like “Don’t Blink,” “There Goes My Life” and more.   • 7:30 p.m. – Saturday, Nov. 17 – Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra: "Musical Honors to Veterans

Conducted by Dr. Selmer Spitzer, this will be their first performance of the 2018 – 2019 season of the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra “Musical Honors to Veterans”. The orchestra is comprised of musicians from Southern Nevada communities including Mesquite, Moapa Valley, Las Vegas, Henderson and St. George, UT, and will include patriotic masterpieces in honor of our Veterans.   • 8:30 p.m. – Saturday, Nov. 24 – Albumpalooza Concert Series presents Eagles Greatest Hits

“Albumpalooza” concert series returns to the CasaBlanca performing what has just been ranked the best-selling album in the history of recorded music. Eagles “Their Greatest Album" features timeless classics like “One of These Nights,” “Take It Easy” and “Desperado.” The Albumpalooza Eagles band performs the entire album cover to cover followed by iconic hits. Tickets on sale now and can be purchased through Star Tickets or through CasaBlanca Resort.

  • 8:30 p.m. – Friday, Nov. 30 – Saturday, Dec. 1 – American Trilogy

American Trilogy is the new Las Vegas hit show that brings together three of the greatest and most beloved entertainers in popular music history – “Frank Sinatra” (Gary Anthony), “Elvis Presley” (Justin Shandor) and “Neil Diamond” (Rob Garrett). In addition to performing solo segments backed by a live band, the show includes interaction between each of the performers before the audience gets treated to the ultimate trifecta as the stars unite for a moving, upbeat and patriotic finale. CasaBlanca Skydome Lounge:

The Skydome Lounge features a wide variety of music including dance, rhythm and blues, classic rock and Motown. Lounge entertainment runs Tuesdays 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Wednesdays 7 p.m. – Midnight, Thursdays 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays 8 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., and Sundays 8:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

  • Every Tuesday Night – Tribute to the King at 6 p.m.

"From Memphis to Las Vegas – A Tribute to the King" starring John Brook

  • Wednesday, Nov. 7 – Sunday, Nov. 11 – Gregg Peterson

With his four-piece band, Gregg Peterson creates his own powerful and distinctive sound. Mesquite and Las Vegas’ favorite variety and dance band – he plays classics from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s to the contemporary hits of today in one sharply-dressed package.

One of Vegas' top Variety Bands, Terry Wayne Project sings hits from Pink, Maroon 5, Journey, Bruno Mars, Folsom Blues Boogie to Enrique Iglesias. You’ll hear your favorite songs from decades ago, all the way up to the popular hits of today.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 28 – Sunday, Dec. 2 – Hal Savar Experience

The Hal Savar Experience is perfectly described as a classic rock vibe with a country heart and blues soul. The Hal Savar Band is known as the “Live Human Juke Box” because they have mastered hundreds of songs and have the ability to take all requests in numerous genres including folk, rock, country, oldies, top-40, rhythm and blues, rap, hip hop, reggae and more.

Virgin River Events Center and Special Events:      

  • Wednesday, Nov. 14 – Saturday, Nov. 17 – Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees, a fundraiser presented by the Mesquite Arts Council, inside the Virgin River Event Center Pavilion. Local businesses will come together in honor of this year’s theme, “Merry and Bright”. This year you can see Christmas Tree displays from the community, homemade arts/craft vendors and live performances from the community.  Admission is $3 per person or $2 with two cans of food, which will be donated to local food banks. All proceeds go to the Mesquite Arts Council.

    • 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15
    • 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16
    • 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17

The River Lounge:

The River Lounge provides live stage entertainment with state-of-the-art sound, an intimate dance floor and full-service bar. The venue offers a comfortable and intimate party experience. Programming includes live bands Wednesday through Sunday. Lounge entertainment runs Wednesdays 7 p.m. – 11 p.m., Thursdays and Sundays 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 7 – Sunday, Nov. 11 – Mickey Utley

Most Wanted is based in Cedar City, Utah consisting of four of Utah's top professional musicians. They are a versatile, energetic band who've played throughout the West for several years entertaining audiences young and old alike. They're repertoire consists of classic rock, disco, oldies, country and everything in between.

    • 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23

  • Wednesday, Nov. 28 – Sunday, Dec. 2 – Pete Ford

Pete Ford is country singer with a jazz influence from the great state of Oregon. Pete offers a unique and refreshing sound, performing a wide range of selections and styles of material and his high energy and powerful stage presence entertains audiences.
