CRACKER

SUNDAY, AUG. 20 AT 7 P.M.

Cracker, the American rock band from Redlands, California, has been called everything from alt-rock Americana to punk to insurgent-country. But more importantly for their fans, Cracker has staying power. Cofounders David Lowery and Johnny Hickman have been releasing music for more than two decades. Their breadth of Cracker’s musical style may be best embodied in their 2014 double release “Berkeley To Bakersfield.”

“On the Berkeley disc, the band is the original Cracker lineup,” said Lowery. “This is the first time this lineup has recorded together in almost 20 years. We chose to stylistically focus this disc on the music we most associate with the East Bay. The Bakersfield disc represents the ‘California country’ side of the band.”

Cracker is perhaps most well known for early radio hits from 1993’s “Kerosene Hat,” including “Low” and “Euro-Trash Girl.”

Cracker at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for ages 18 and up. General admission tickets start at $22 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487.

DANZIG

w/ Deafheaven and Vamps

SATURDAY, SEPT. 23 AT 6:30 P.M.

Danzig, taking its name from front man and former Misfits and Samhain founder Glenn Danzig, is an American heavy metal that calls upon the bluesy gothic rock of early Black Sabbath. Danzig himself, the founder of the “horror punk” subgenre with Misfits, has an unmistakable and timeless brooding voice that falls somewhere between moody British new wave and Jim Morrison.

Danzig’s tenth full-length album since 2010, the passion project “Skeletons,” is a collection of covers that reveal some of Danzig’s influences, including songs by Elvis Presley, The Everly Brothers, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath and more.

Danzig at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for ages 18 and up. Venue presale tickets are available Thursday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. PT using password “DANZIG17.” Tickets start at $35 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487.

IN THIS MOMENT

HALF GOD / HALF DEVIL TOUR

w/ Of Mice & Men and Avatar

SATURDAY, OCT. 21 AT 4 P.M.

In This Moment is a metalcore band from Los Angeles formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth and known for their intricate costuming and energetic live storytelling. Their upcoming release, “Ritual,” is slated for distribution on Friday, July 21, as tickets for their Half God / Half Devil Tour go on sale.

“I wanted to show people and definitely women a different side of strength in me that was a really powerful force in me that didn't need the sexual part,” said Brink of “Ritual” to Q103’s Rock Girl Tatiana in Albany, New York. “So there's definitely a more serious overtone, a more serious deeper side of us.”

In This Moment at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for all ages. Venue presale tickets are available Thursday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. PT using password “RITUAL.” General admission tickets start at $29.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487.

AN EVENING WITH

PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT

MONDAY, MAY 14, 2017 AT 7 P.M.

Peter Hook, legendary bassist of classic British post-punk bands Joy Division and, later, New Order, is honoring the incredible work of his first band and the legend of its late lead singer, Ian Curtis, with The Light, playing the music of Joy Division. “Hooky” as he is known, will assume the lead singer role, still on bass, and perform hits from Joy Division’s masterpiece albums “Unknown Pleasures” and “Closer.”

Peter Hook & The Light at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for ages 18 and up. Tickets start at $30 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487.
