A Capella Group MO5AIC Launches New Show at Ballys

After performing in several Las Vegas venues including opening for comedian George Wallace during his residency at the Flamingo and headlining their own show at the Silverton, the phenomenal a capella group Mo5aic returned to Las Vegas with a brand new show at Bally's Windows Showroom on June 5, that along with great musicality, includes humor and audience interaction.

The band, which is compromised of Josh Huslig, Heath Burgett, Jake Moulton, Corwyn Hodge and Roopak Ahuja, may look like rock stars, but they perform a mix bag of music genres including rock, funk, pop, R & B, jazz, songs from the Top 40 with even a bit of opera thrown in. What makes them stand out from the usual singing group, is they use nothing but their own extraordinary voices, a microphone and no instruments. In other words, all the sounds and instrumental tones are produced by their amazing vocal talents and that alone. Each of the guys gets a chance to showcase their individual voices and instrumental mimicry.

For their new show at Bally's the group has added a variety of new songs to their repertoire including hits by Sam Smith, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran, a tribute to “The History of Vegas” that honors songs such as “Mack the Knife” by Bobby Darin to local superstar band, Imagine Dagon's  2014 hit “Radioactive”. In another segment of the show, which proves to be informative as well as highly entertaining, Josh Huslig demonstrates the creation of a vocal loop by using a mashup of his vocal tracks.

“MO5AIC is thrilled to once again be performing in Las Vegas,” said Josh Huslig, who founded MO5AIC in 2002.  “We are honored to be part of the Bally’s line-up of performances and tradition of great talent. We couldn’t ask for a better home on The Strip.”

As a welcome addition to the lineup of great entertainers on ths strip, Mo5aic's family friendly show brings music to your ears in a spectacular, exceptional way.
