Dianne R. Davis' Views Of Vegas

Idaho The Comedy Musical. Yes Idaho is a state. And now, it is a tongue in cheek play on words and a musical comedy debuting in Las Vegas. It is a little naughty, a big bit bawdy, and two potato sacks full of fun. You don't even have to read any further except that I suggest you run right down to the Smith Center in Las Vegas and see the brand spanking new show Idaho The Comedy Musical playing through Saturday, July 17, 2016.

Chris Phillips, the 50ish blond haired sort of rocker is letting the Vintage back out. The big band and show music that my generation loves. Using the name of Zowie Bowie, Chris is known for his Red Rock residency, appearances on the Third Street stage on Fremont Street, and other gigs around town in torn jeans and current music that would have some folks using earplugs. But go to the newly refurbished Classy Grandview Lounge at SouthPoint and catch his 10 p.m. every other Saturday night through August. The $15 ticket is well worth it to see a tuxedoed Chris backed by a ten piece band singing “Get me to the Church on Time” or “Who knows where or when” or - “This Could be the Start of Something Big”.

Clint Holmes - one of Las Vegas' finest performers - is back on The Strip where thousands can enjoy and appreciate his talent. Clint takes entertainment up a notch as he weaves traditional and contemporary music and songs with significant vignettes of his unique family and personal history during “Clint Holmes: Between The Lines” in the newly redesigned Palazzo Theatre.
