Rí Rá Irish Pub in Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Place Celebrates Second Anniversary
Rí Rá Irish Pub in Mandalay Bay Place Las Vegas is a true Irish Pub serving a variety of Irish specialty food and drinks. My spouse and I visited Rí Rá in August to help celebrate its second anniversary in Las Vegas and sample some of its food and drink.
Rí Rá epitomizes a true Irish pub experience, with a comfortable neighborhood environment where the Pub brags that, “conversation flows as smoothly as Guinness ebbs in the glass”. Much of the restaurant is constructed from a pub meticulously restored in Ireland then shipped to Las Vegas. It is a true pub setting with five bars and five separate dining locations.
Each of the five bars are unique. Walking through the front door of Rí Rá, you are transported back in time as you enter the front shop bar. Leave the busy Shoppes at Mandalay Place behind and embrace the feel of the Irish Pub.

The traditional shop bar played an important role in rural Ireland acting as the pub, local store, post-office and community gathering point. The shop bar at Rí Rá was built in Ireland and is a near duplicate of the original bar built in the 1880's.

When you pass through Foley’s Shop Bar, you enter an authentic Victorian Bar, crafted in the warm pub style of 19th century Dublin and custom-made with salvaged material straight from Ireland

The Whiskey bar is composed of the original glazed jewelers cabinet, circa 1910, restored mahogany paneling from a bank and the oak floor which actually came from an old whiskey distillery. It creates the perfect ambiance to consider and enjoy the extensive variety of whiskeys . I counted 28 different Irish Whiskeys on the menu.

The Entertainment Bar aka the Music Room bar compliments the surroundings and helps create a great atmosphere to listen to nightly Irish music, Originally built in 1880, the gorgeous bar has been beautifully restored to create the Music Room . It includes salvage artifacts such as the 1890 cherry floor and elements from the original Olympia Theatre in Dublin.

We sampled several items from their extensive small bites menu. The sausage rolls consisted of bangers wrapped in a light crust in a special sauce. The chicken tenders were tender. Fish and chips were light and tasty.

We delighted in meatball size samples of Mom's meatloaf burger . These burgers are made from a combination of fresh ground beef, pork and veal.
