Hooters Plans Improvements and Works with Charities and Announces Jarrett & Raja Show
Hooters Casino Hotel is planning $20 million in capitol improvements in 2017. The money will be spent in upgrading all of their 657 rooms, expanding the sports book, improving the casino floor and swimming pool, and adding a new showroom.
General Manager Mike Storm presented this information at a January 23 press conference. He told the audience that Hooters considers itself to be a locals casino and is heavily invested in the community. Hooters began to demonstrate their commitment to the community in August 2016 by donating funds that might have been used for marketing to local charities instead.

Hooters now contributes to and works with 10 charities in Las Vegas. The charities include Habitat for Humanity, Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Three Square, Goodwill, The Salvation Army, Make-a-Wish and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. The casino is especially proud that many of the Hooters girls give their to work with the charities. Storm stated that several of the casino's vendors also contributed money and services to the charities.
Several of the charities were presented with checks during the press conference. Storm also told some poignant stories about the work the charities perform.
New entertainment will be coming to Hooters. Storm announced that Magicians Jarrett & Raja will be starring in an open ended residency in a new second floor showroom stating March 24, 2017. The show will include dinner along with the magic. The duo appeared on Shark Tank in search of funding. While their bid their was unsuccessful, they have since managed to make the deal at Hooters to bring them to the Las Vegas stage on a regular residency basis.
In addition, A new show entitled “Rock Fantasy” will open in the Night Owl Showroom in February. The show will rotate 30 celebrity look alike rock stars such as Elton John, David Bowie, and Axle Rose.
A new themed restaurant will shortly be replacing the Mad Onion. It will be a nationally known restaurant that is very popular in the Midwest, but the name has not yet been announced.
This should be an interesting and hopefully successful year for the revitalized Hooters Casino.
