Legendary Comedian Paul Rodriguez Brings “Paul Rodriguez And The Whole Enchilada” to the Tropicana Las Vegas
In an effort to attract Hispanic/Latino audiences to the property, The Tropicana Las Vegas is presenting Legendary funnyman Paul Rodriguez's new standup show, "Paul Rodriguez and the Whole Enchilada"for a limited engagement May 17-June 20. Also on the bill is rocket scientist turned comedienne Shayla Rivera, stand up comic Martin Adler and a quartet of scantily clad dancers that open the show.

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health celebrated a dream 14 years in the making, with the Friday, May 21 opening of the Life Activity Center designed by famed architect Frank Gehry, which will host medical education and other events.

Monday night, May 16 Scott Frost, President of Titan Nightlife Group, the developer behind Hussong’s Cantina, celebrated his 44th birthday and the launch of the Spinal Injury Recovery Foundation at Hussong’s Cantina inside Mandalay Place. Frost, who was paralyzed from the neck down as the result of an off road motorcycle accident in May of 2009 decided to launch the Spinal Injury Recovery Foundation, whose mission is to serve as the leading resource for new victims of spinal cord injury, to help other families in his situation. The birthday celebration was highlighted by the introduction of the El Gigante cocktail, named after the very tall Frost, and the hanging of his commemorative charcoal. A percentage of proceeds from the El Gigante, will go towards the Spinal Injury Recovery Foundation.

Due to popular demand, the phenomenally popular off-Broadway production Girls Night The Musical has extended its limited Las Vegas engagement. Performances will run through Sunday, May 30 at Studio 54 inside MGM Grand. Performances are Wednesday – Sunday at 7:30 pm.
Sexy & Dangerous” starring Mario and Jenny from “America’s Got Talent” will open their family variety show in the Embassy Theatre at the Las Vegas Rocks Café beginning on Thursday, May 27. Steve Wynn’s Encore will open its Encore Beach Club and 5,000-square-foot Surrender Nightclub with an all-star musical line-up over Memorial Day weekend. On Friday, May 28, Steve Aoki, Surrender Nightclub’s musical director and creator of the dance hit “I’m In the House,” will take over the turntables for “Aoki’s House.” on Saturday night, May 29 there will be a live performance by platinum superstar Ne-Yo. The ninth annual Reggae in the Desert concert returns to the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater, located at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas, on June 12. The lineup of performing acts include Barrington Levy, Sly and Robbie, Marcia Griffiths, Eek-A-Mouse, Mystic Roots and local group HaleAmanO. Tuesday night, May 18 Maroon 5 was spotted at LAVO. Front man Adam Levine serenaded girlfriend model Anne V throughout the night and the entire group danced and took photos.
Also taking in the night was New York Knick Al Harrington, who stuck to water but danced to the sounds of DJ Five.
Thursday, May 20, retired NFL star Warren Sapp was spotted enjoying dinner at TAO Asian Bistro with friends.
Prior to appearing on the red carpet for the special screening of Get Him to The Greek, British comedy actor Russell Brand was spotted handing out chips to fans on the casino floor at Planet Hollywood.
Friday, May 21, Actress Jasmine Dustin hosted at TAO Beach in celebration of her role in Iron Man 2. Dustin continued her Vegas visit with dinner at TAO Asian Bistro.

Eight time Olympic gold medalist speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, who turned 28 at midnight, celebrated at TAO with a party presented by All In Magazine. Ohno and friends including poker player Chris “Jesus” Ferguson had dinner before heading up to the moat skybox in the nightclub where the party continued.

Actress Rebecca Mader, who is in town to host a LOST series finale party at LAVO on Saturday, also enjoyed dinner at TAO before hitting the nightclub with friends.
Spotted having dinner was Tom Felton, “Draco Malfoy” from the Harry Potter film series, and his girlfriend.
Chris Ferguson was at LAVO later in the evening, mingling with the crowd until around 3:30 am.
