The NAB Show (National Association of Broadcasters) the world's largest electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums convened April 1-15, 2010 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton (exhibit hall opened April 12).

Cirque due Soleil has confirmed that it is putting together a Michael Jackson-themed show that begins touring late next year. The show will then open at an unspecified MGM Mirage property in late 2012. Plans include opening a restaurant and/or nightclub.

Aston Hotels & Resorts is the new owners of the MonteLago Village Resort at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. The resort is the hotelier’s first property in Nevada, adding to its collection of more than 27 hotels and condominium resorts located in Hawaii, South Lake Tahoe, California and Sun Valley, Idaho.

On Monday, April 19, multi-talented singer, dancer and choreographer Derrick Williams joined the cast in the role of “Mufasa” for the Las Vegas company of Disney’s landmark musical THE LION KING at Mandalay Bay.

Mercy Hollinger, team member at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower was named a “Hospitality Hero” by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) for her years of dedication to providing excellent customer service. Hollinger was honored with the award on April 22, exactly 14 years to the day after starting at the property in 1996 as a change attendant before her promotion to her current position of floor person.

Actress and model Shanna Moakler celebrated her birthday with 9 Group at Palms Casino Resort. She began her evening by enjoying dinner at N9NE Steakhouse with five others.

Ryan Kwanten spent the day at TAO Beach, enjoying the grand cabana overlooking the pool with friends before heading to the ACM’s where he was presenting.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were spotted dining at LAVO before heading up to the nightclub. Upstairs the affectionate couple and friends danced to the sounds of DJ Vice. Earlier in the night they were spotted at Dos Caminos.

Thursday night, April 22, actor Chazz Palminteri was spotted dining at TAO Asian Bistro.

Enrique Iglesias, on a photo shoot in Vegas for his upcoming album, took a break from the set at the Palms Casino Resort on Thursday night to check out Playboy Club, where Bunny Tiffany presented him with a key to the club.

Raiderette Erica Arana celebrated her 33rd birthday at LAVO after spending the day with friends at TAO Beach. Spotted in the group at the dance floor table was Darrius Heyward-Bey, a wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders.

Chazz Palminteri was spotted in the club as well. The actor joined Jason Strauss at the owner’s table.

Academy Award-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri relaxed in a private cabana at AZURE pool at The Palazzo with a group of friends.

Sylvester Stallone and Paula Abdul spotted dining with a party of 15 at Strip House at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Courtney Love hosted at TAO in celebration of the release of “Nobody’s Daughter,” the new album from Hole. She was presented with a cake and just after 1 am she surprised the crowd by taking the stage for an impromptu performance singing “Pacific Coast Highway” and “Someone Else’s Bed,” accompanied by Mico on guitar, a member of her band.

Spotted at TAO watching the performance from a VIP table was Chazz Palminteri.

Over at LAVO actress Francia Raisa was spotted in the nightclub taking in the sounds of DJ Reach.

Blush Boutique Nightclub’s crowd went wild at 3 a.m. when legendary hip hop artist Flavor Flav walked into the Wynn Las Vegas hot spot. The former VH-1 reality star made his way around the room posing for pictures with numerous fans while DJ Mighty Mi played a tribute to the artist by playing some Public Enemy songs.

Former “girl next door” Bridget Marquardt and boyfriend, Nick Carpenter, threw a spooky-themed Halfway to Halloween Party inside Eva Longoria Parker’s Eve nightclub in Crystals at CityCenter. . The couple went as a dead bride and groom, donning macabre wedding attire, gruesome face paint and a gory wedding cake to match. Costume-clad celebrities guests included Holly Madison, star of “Holly’s World,” taking it back to her roots in a Hooters uniform and former “Baywatch” beauty and star of FANTASY at Luxor, Angelica Bridges, dressed as friend and fellow redhead-performer Carrot Top.

Kourtney’s sizzling mocha dress covered up a zebra-printed bathing suit, which is part of the sisters’ Beach Bunny bikini collection that they’re preparing to launch. Always gracious, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney posed for pictures and mingled with their ecstatic fans.

Khloe took the carpet by storm as she playfully posed for fan pictures. Kim, fresh from her breakup with Reggie Bush, slyly avoided questions about rumored beau Cristiano Ronaldo but did admit that she thought European soccer players are hot.
